Apartment K – Turnkey Project

APARTMENT K – TURNKEY PROJECT Interior Design Client: Private Project Team: Andrej Kregar and Gregor Blaj We designed the interior of a prestigious apartment with a terrace in Koper, where warm wooden elements meet elegant black and blue accents. The terrace, furnished in wood, offers an enviable view of the coast blending comfort with sophistication.  One of the main challenges was installing electrical wiring without drilling into the walls. Therefore, we used ceiling-mounted pendant lights in the kitchen. They hang about a meter from the dining table, bringing both functionality and a touch of playfulness to the space. Throughout the apartment, custom-made oak furniture ensures cohesion and refinement, while decorative elements discreetly conceal installations and structural pillars behind the television. In addition, decorative elements discreetly hide installations and the structural pillars behind the television. The interior also had to match the already furnished bathrooms. We achieved this by using coordinated wooden accessories and a built-in laundry closet for the washer and dryer. Valentin – FGR

VALENTIN – FOOD GARBAGE RECYCLER Product Design Client: Valentin Project Team: Andrej Kregar, Tomaž Perme WHEN INNOVATION BECOMES PART OF DAILY LIFE We designed the outer shell and user interface for a revolutionary kitchen appliance, the Food Garbage Recycler, a device that introduces a completely new approach to organic waste processing. Although technologically advanced, the Food Garbage Recycler operates with a simplicity that feels familiar and intuitive, making it easy to integrate into everyday routines. From the beginning our goal was to create a product that fits naturally into the flow of the kitchen. Therefore, the overall design is soft, calm, and non-intrusive. The compact cuboid form, with its rounded edges and matte surfaces, avoids the harshness often associated with technical appliances. Instead, it expresses a quiet presence and a sense of ease which supports the idea that advanced technology can still feel warm and approachable. This carefully created softness reinforces the core philosophy behind the Food Garbage Recycler: high performance with minimal friction for the user. While hidden beneath the sink, the device performs a complex set of tasks that traditionally require multiple steps. It separates food, water, and oil, reduces the total volume of kitchen waste by up to 85%, removes unpleasant odors, and produces natural fertilizer in only 24 hours. Because these functions operate automatically, users experience the benefits without interruption of their daily habits. In essence, the Food Garbage Recycler is not just a kitchen appliance. It is a seamless extension of the kitchen environment. An elegant, intelligent tool that makes sustainable living effortless. Through thoughtful design and intuitive interaction, it demonstrates how innovation can become a natural part of everyday life. Intelligent Cranium Helmet

INTELLIGENT CRANIUM HELMET Product Design Project Year: 2020 Project Team: Andrej Kregar and Damir Černec Client: Intelligent Cranium Helmets Award: BIG SEE Product Design Award 2022 Designing Beyond Standards Our work was primarily focused on the design and development of the product. From the very beginning, we aimed to integrate all the features required for ECE 22.05 certification. At the same time, we wanted to push the standards of helmet design to a higher level. Because of this, we approached every phase with a strong emphasis on precision, innovation, and safety. A Complex Process with Many Details Designing a helmet is a highly complex process. Despite its small size, the fit must be absolutely precise and, in the event of impact, extremely effective. Therefore, in the early stages, we concentrated on specific details, such as the carbon shell structure and the selection of soft materials and fabrics for both the outer and inner segments. Moreover, through close collaboration with the engineer, we examined key parameters. These included the thickness of the shell, the construction of the frame, and the choice of plastics and heat-resistant, non-flammable materials. By refining the ergonomics and optimizing smooth surfaces to reduce drag, we gradually shaped the helmet’s distinctive form. As a result, the product reflects both technical accuracy and aesthetic clarity. Merging Ergonomics with Aesthetic Perfection With today’s high expectations for safety and design, our goal was to merge ergonomics with aesthetic perfection. Early in the development process, we identified one of the prevailing trends: a design language that conveys depth and dimensionality. For this reason, the helmet’s final form features a refined 3D pattern. Consequently, the structure expresses not only elegance, but also strength and durability—qualities every rider values. Smart Features That Elevate the Experience The smart helmet integrates a wide range of practical and appealing features. At the front and rear, two high-resolution 4K cameras enable continuous 360-degree monitoring and recording. In addition, an advanced visor with a photochromic lens expands the rider’s field of vision. The helmet is made from premium materials—carbon fiber, Kevlar, and high-grade fiberglass—which further reduce drag while maintaining a sophisticated look. At the rear of the shell, a brake-light indicator with an integrated accelerometer increases road safety. This section also contains the motherboard with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a collection of sensors. Moreover, special ventilation openings ensure comfort even on the hottest days. Because of this, the helmet is suitable for highway use in all weather conditions. Engineered for Real-World Riding Thanks to a six-hour battery life and convenient recharging, the helmet is ideal for long-distance rides. Furthermore, we enhanced visibility with additional lighting elements, ensuring that the rider remains clearly seen. This modern, precisely engineered helmet—with carefully considered ergonomics and detailing—is a premium choice for every motorcycle enthusiast. It combines luxury, technical precision, and a contemporary appearance. Above all, it is built to support the rider, improve safety, and elevate the overall riding experience. A Fusion of Expertise and Innovation In developing this product, we wanted to channel our extensive industrial-design knowledge into something new and exciting. The smart helmet offered the perfect opportunity. Consequently, we were able to merge expertise with innovation and create a product that is both practical and safe, while also meeting the performance expectations of today’s riders. Hanging Bed

HANGING BED Product Design Project Year: 2022 Project Team: Andrej Kregar and Damir Černec Refined Design for Modern Living Designing this unique suspended bed required equal attention to aesthetics, usability, and everyday comfort. From the beginning, we wanted to create a solution that would enhance the way people experience and use their living space. Therefore, we focused on both beauty and practicality. Because modern homes often demand flexibility, the suspended bed had to adapt to different activities throughout the day. It needed to feel elegant when visible, yet disappear effortlessly when more space was required. To achieve this balance, we invested considerable effort into developing reliable and intuitive mechanisms. As a result, the bed assembles easily, operates smoothly, and supports efficient production. Every technical detail—from the lifting motors to the frame construction—was selected with safety, precision, and durability in mind. In addition, the suspended bed rises to the ceiling at the touch of a button, creating valuable floor space within seconds. A Flexible Solution for Dynamic Interiors When retracted, the suspended bed becomes a discreet architectural feature. Its minimalist form blends into the ceiling, which makes the room feel more open and orderly. However, when lowered, it reveals its full presence. The bed becomes an elegant focal point, adding warmth and character to the interior. This dual nature was essential to our concept, since we wanted a design that supports both functionality and expression. Furthermore, the suspended bed reflects a thoughtful approach to modern living. Lightweight materials and optimized proportions improve usability, while intuitive controls simplify daily routines. Consequently, the bed allows users to transform a bedroom into a workspace, a living room, or a social area with minimal effort. It encourages flexibility without sacrificing comfort. Ultimately, the suspended bed represents a harmonious blend of refined design, engineering clarity, and spatial efficiency. It is created for people who value elegance, comfort, and intelligent use of space—without compromise. Paintcam

PAINTCAM Product Design CLIENT: PaintCam WHEN SAFETY AND DESIGN MEET For Paintcam, a company that developed an innovative security system, we created a complete product design. The system features synchronous face recognition, app- and AI-based operation, night vision, and even paintball deterrence. The design relies on clear, minimalist geometry, with soft oval shapes that flow seamlessly into one another. The lower section, which supports the head and enables rotation, transitions smoothly into the upper part, allowing for tilting. A white finish emphasizes the product’s modern character and reinforces the unity of its form, while the black front panel, housing the camera, serves as the “eye” of the device, the element that sees everything. In developing the design, we considered the fact that this product is always present in the home environment, visible even when not actively in use. Because residents remain in constant visual contact with it, the goal was to ensure it did not dominate the space. Rather than appearing intrusive, it functions as an aesthetic addition, supporting security without disrupting daily life. Medicop – a series of medical devices

MEDICOP – SERIES OF MEDICAL DEVICES Product Design CLIENT: Medicop Design: Andrej Kregar, Tamara Likon Medicop is an internationally recognized company with decades of experience in developing medical equipment and ambulances. The brand is known for reliability, precision, and exceptional quality. Because of this, its devices support healthcare professionals in more than 60 countries. Their products save lives every day and remain a trusted part of hospitals, clinics, and emergency systems around the world. Designing a New Line Inspired by Space Engineering Together, we created a new line of portable oxygen therapy devices. The concept draws inspiration from the Mir space station—a surprising, yet fitting reference. Just like spacecraft, a respirator must deliver airtightness, accuracy, and flawless performance. At the same time, it needs a refined and functional aesthetic. This connection guided our design process from the very beginning. Precision Engineering Meets Clear, Minimalist Design In the development phase, our team integrated a wide range of micro-components into a single, coherent unit. These included pressure gauges, inlet connectors, vacuum regulators, and measuring tubes. We arranged them in a way that echoes the technical clarity of the space station. As a result, the new respirators combine airtight construction, minimalist geometry, and impressive efficiency. With this step, Medicop strengthened its reputation for quality and expanded its product range with a distinctly modern line. A Cohesive Visual Identity for a Regulated Environment Our collaboration extended beyond industrial design. We also aligned the devices with Medicop’s visual identity. Because the medical industry operates under strict regulations, the branding had to be clear, consistent, and functional. We developed a unified design language that emphasizes the company’s signature turquoise accents and recognizable logo. The contrast between the neutral gray base and vivid color highlights strengthens brand recognition. At the same time, clean forms and readable layouts improve usability for medical staff. Bringing Design and Brand Together Through this integration of product design and branding, Medicop increased its visibility in a demanding and tightly controlled environment. Moreover, the unified design builds trust among healthcare professionals, who rely on clear interfaces and dependable tools. The new portable oxygen therapy devices therefore represent much more than technical equipment—they reflect Medicop’s commitment to innovation, safety, and user-focused design. Office Building in Klagenfurt

OFFICE BUILDING IN KLAGENFURT Architecture and Interior Design Design: Kreatif Design, Andrej Kregar, Damir Černec Modern Office Building in Klagenfurt The project began with the design of a modern office building in Klagenfurt for a company developing advanced battery technology. Right from the introduction, we wanted the building to reflect the client’s innovative mindset. At the same time, the space needed to support employee well-being and productivity. Therefore, the concept focuses on openness, natural light, and a carefully balanced selection of materials. Interior Focused on Light and Comfort The interior of the office building has a spacious and flexible layout. Large floor-to-ceiling windows bring daylight deep into the rooms, which improves the overall atmosphere and creates a bright, stimulating environment. As a result, employees benefit from natural light throughout the entire day. We used natural materials wherever possible, with wood playing an important role. Its warmth adds comfort, while calm pastel tones create a soft visual background that does not distract from daily work. Together, these elements form a harmonious interior that feels contemporary, human-centred, and inviting. Exterior Designed With Modern Elegance On the exterior, the architecture of the office building emphasizes a clear and elegant modern expression. The wooden façade, combined with large and precisely positioned glass surfaces, creates a refined balance between transparency and structure. Wood brings a natural softness, while expansive glazing increases openness and strengthens the connection to the surrounding environment. Consequently, the exterior communicates both stability and lightness. Sustainability and Identity Through Materials The materials were chosen not only for aesthetics but also for sustainability. Wood provides ecological value and visual warmth. Generous glazing reduces the need for artificial lighting, which lowers energy consumption. Because of this, the building remains environmentally conscious while still maintaining a strong visual identity. This approach reinforces the broader vision of designing an office building that is responsible, refined, and future-oriented. Ultimately, the Klagenfurt office building combines modern design, user comfort, and architectural clarity. It offers an inspiring setting for a company operating at the forefront of innovation and provides a solid foundation for its continued growth. Duplex V

DUPLEX V Architecture Design: Andrej Kregar, Tomaž Perme, Damir Černec This project presents the design of a modern duplex intended as an investment for a client from the Vrhnika area. The plot lies at the edge of a developed residential row, so the house needed to blend naturally with its surroundings. Access to the site is from the south, directly from the Vrhnika–Ljubljana road, which also defines the orientation of the main entrance. The building features a low-slope trapezoidal roof finished in matte grey sheet metal that continues down the south and north façades. In contrast, the east and west sides use simple white plaster to create a clean and balanced look. The duplex has three levels—ground floor, first floor, and attic (P+1+M)—organized for both comfort and efficiency. Living spaces face northwest and open onto a sheltered terrace behind the building. This orientation increases privacy and reduces noise coming from the regional road. The ground floor includes an entrance windbreak, a study, a small bathroom, and stairs to the upper level. On the first floor, a large bedroom with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom ensures comfort for the parents, while two children’s rooms connect to attic sleeping areas and share an additional bathroom. Tall Houses Tomiselj

TOMIŠELJ TALL HOUSES Architecture Design: Andrej Kregar, Jože Kouter, Damir Černec In the village of Tomišelj, at the foot of Krim and only minutes away from unspoiled nature, a series of modern tall houses is planned. The entire area of Ig has very narrow plots, largely due to the region’s agricultural past. Because of this, designing buildings for contemporary living is a significant challenge. As a result, the new houses follow a tall and narrow form, which gives them an elegant and light appearance. Large windows bring generous natural light into the interior, while the floor plan remains rational and well organized. Although the houses stand on relatively narrow plots, they still offer enough room for a spacious seating area, a modern kitchen with an island, a dining table, a bathroom, a toilet, a children’s room and a study. Therefore, they provide all the comforts expected in a modern home. Because of the unconventional layout, the interior feels dynamic and fluid. It includes all the classic rooms you would expect in a single-family house, yet the design connects them more distinctly into a cohesive whole. In addition, the eastern and western façades step slightly inward, creating an innovative terrace. This space is covered and protected, yet it still maintains a strong connection to the surrounding nature. Even in the rain, you can enjoy fresh air in the shelter of your home. Furthermore, the height of the houses gives them a strong and confident presence in the landscape. They define the space clearly, while their thoughtful positioning ensures they do not cast shadows on one another or on neighbouring buildings. This careful placement improves comfort for residents and supports a harmonious relationship with the wider environment. House VR

HOUSE VR Architecture Design: Andrej Kregar, Tomaž Perme, Jože Kouter, Ambrož Močnik, Damir Černec, Svit Oliver Katanec We designed a single-family house near Ljubljana for a private client. Instead of following the traditional Slovenian gabled house strictly, we opened the floor plan to more light and stronger connections to the surroundings. The main concept appears in the roof opening, which brings fresh air into the building and naturally ventilates the interior. In addition, this opening brightens the living rooms, hallways and staircases. Inside the home, sliding walls create flexibility. Residents can easily move them to adjust circulation or redefine rooms as needed. As a result, a study can appear within the living room, or the upper floor can open into one continuous space. The southwest façade is fully glazed, allowing sunlight to fill the children’s room, kitchen and dining area. Another thoughtful element of the layout is that each child’s room includes its own bathroom, which increases comfort and privacy. Nature plays an important role in the overall concept, both inside and around the house. Greenery softens the garage area, while an opening in the roof provides natural watering. Furthermore, plants separate the house from the road and surround its most private outdoor area—a covered terrace positioned at the edge of the plot. This creates a peaceful and sheltered space that remains connected to nature throughout the day. Edit gallery Go back Instagram Facebook-f Linkedin-in Youtube ALL RIGHTS RESERVED 2024 KREATIF DESIGN

Duler office building

DULER OFFICE BUILDING Architecture Design: Gregor Blaj, Andrej Kregar Duler is an innovative family-owned company with a long tradition in the railway industry, mechanical engineering, and mining and hydro equipment. As the company expanded its work and built a new production facility, they also envisioned a new administrative building. This is where our team stepped in. We aimed to design a building that reflects their values, ambitions, and long-standing expertise. The client wanted the final appearance of the building to express modernity and innovation. This was especially important because all the nearby structures are strictly industrial and visually heavy. The surroundings consist mostly of manufacturing halls, so the new building needed to stand out. Because of this, we approached the project with the goal of creating something refined, precise, and visually memorable. Our architects designed a clean and aesthetically balanced form that aligns with Duler’s philosophy and the nature of their work. The metal exterior is not accidental. Since the company operates within the metal industry, the façade acts as a subtle reference to their technical background. At the same time, the building represents a sophisticated contrast, a blend of cool metal surfaces and a polished, business-oriented appearance. As a result, the architecture bridges two worlds: industrial strength and corporate elegance. The interior continues this design logic. Our interior designers combined elements of the industrial environment with warm, carefully selected materials and a clear spatial rhythm. Through this approach, they created an atmosphere that feels both professional and inviting. Furthermore, the interplay between metal details and softer finishes highlights the company’s dual identity: technically focused yet forward-looking and refined. Altogether, the new administrative building embodies Duler’s drive for progress. It stands as a symbol of the company’s evolution and their commitment to quality, innovation, and thoughtful design. You can see how our interior designers combined the coolness of the industrial environment with an aesthetically perfect interior here. Petrovič Headquarters Design

PETROVIČ HEADQUARTERS DESIGN Architecture CLIENT: Petrovič Design: Andrej Kregar, Ambrož Močnik The Petrovič headquarters design project allowed us to redefine the visual and spatial identity of Petrovič d.o.o., a leading company in roofing and construction. From the start, we aimed to create an office building that clearly expresses the company’s core values. These include reliability, customer care, long-term quality and environmental responsibility. At the same time, we wanted the building to introduce a more modern and refined presence into its industrial surroundings. A Modern Design Approach for the Headquarters The result is a contemporary office building that immediately catches the eye. It is divided into two functional parts: a welcoming showroom on the ground floor and business premises on the first floor. This layout supports everyday workflow and creates a clear route for visiting clients. In addition, the symmetry of the architecture communicates professionalism, precision and confidence, helping visitors feel that they are in good hands. We placed special attention on the façade. Because Petrovič works in the metal roofing industry, the building features the same roofing materials used in their own products. As a result, the building becomes a subtle but powerful showcase of their technical expertise. This choice also strengthens the connection between the physical architecture and the identity of the company. Interior Design Aligned With the Headquarters Vision Inside, the design follows the same approach. Clean lines, balanced proportions and a controlled selection of materials create a calm and efficient work environment. Furthermore, the interior blends the coolness of metal with a refined business character, which supports both daily operations and client meetings. This clarity in material and form reinforces the values expressed in the Petrovič headquarters design. Architecture That Expresses Petrovič Values Overall, the new headquarters does more than offer functional workspace. It communicates who Petrovič is as a company. Through thoughtful use of materials, a modern spatial concept and a strong visual identity, the building embodies the company’s mission and ambition for the future. Uprom office building

UPROM OFFICE BUILDING Architecture CLIENT: Uprom Design: Andrej Kregar, Uroš Babnik A New Architectural Identity for Uprom Uprom, a manufacturer of sheet metal products, approached us to redesign the façade of their existing business building and to plan the interior and exterior layout. Their old façade was functional, yet it did not express the company’s identity. Because of this, we began with the exterior and developed a new architectural expression that better represented their brand. After preparing several design studies, the client selected a bold solution: vertical sheet-metal strips that visually unify the existing structure with the planned extension. Parametric Design for a Tailored Façade For the façade, we combined creative exploration with parametric software (Grasshopper). This method allowed us to respond to the client’s expectations quickly and accurately. In addition, it ensured an attractive formal appearance, proper sunlight, clear views, and improved wind protection. The same design approach can easily extend to many other project types. These range from urban interventions and creative public structures to tall buildings, pavilions, and large residential developments. Because of its flexibility, the method supports efficient decision-making throughout the design process. A Functional and Refined Interior The interior renovation focused equally on function and atmosphere. We reimagined key spaces, including the entrance hall and the conference room, while the new extension introduced a wine cellar, a meeting room, and a roof pavilion. Spaces with high visibility—those used by clients and business partners—received particular attention. In the offices and entrance hall, we used monochromatic light tones to create a sense of airiness. We also added product display surfaces to strengthen the brand presence. The wine cellar, meant for informal gatherings, has a more intimate character. Exposed concrete walls, black steel details, and aged wood flooring give the space a warm yet raw aesthetic. Landscape Improvements and Parking Design The exterior redesign also included new parking solutions for clients and employees. Customer parking sits in front of the building and blends paved areas with green surfaces. Employee parking is placed on a separate plot, designed as a landscaped park. The existing pear-tree avenue was extended to provide shade, and soil from the paving work was reused to create green boundary banks. Instead of asphalt, the parking surfaces were finished with hardened grass, which creates a softer visual appearance and improves permeability. Design of a new series of garages

DESIGN OF A NEW SERIES OF GARAGES Architecture MANUFACTURER: Krovstvo Petrovič A Contemporary Garage Line for Modern Homes When a vehicle is exposed to harsh weather or other external influences, even careful maintenance is not enough. Because of this, Krovstvo Petrović set out to offer customers a designer series of garages and carports. Their goal was to create solutions that adapt to a wide range of needs through flexible, customizable options. To achieve a modern and refined result, they partnered with us for architectural and industrial design. Together, we developed a line of contemporary garages that blend strong functionality with visual appeal. Flexible Garage Types for Different Needs A garage must adapt perfectly to the vehicles it shelters. It should also reflect the wishes and lifestyle of its owner. With this in mind, we designed a family of minimalist garages available in several types and versions. Each variation offers specific advantages. For example, customers can choose between solutions for a single vehicle or larger multi-vehicle versions. In addition, flexibility played a central role, ensuring each garage can function as both a protective structure and an aesthetic addition to the home. Unified Design and Durable Construction All variations derive from a single base model, which creates a unified and recognizable design. The construction uses galvanized C and Z profiles to ensure durability and long-term stability. Clients can select sheet metal with or without insulation for the roof and façade, depending on their priorities. At Krovstvo Petrovič, structural integrity and quality come first, which means every garage protects the vehicle completely while maintaining a clean, modern look. A Functional and Aesthetic Addition to the Home These new garages were created to offer more than visual refinement. They improve daily usability and serve as an important finishing element in shaping a well-organized home. Moreover, their modern design complements the architecture of the house, completing the overall impression of the property. For personalised advice or custom planning, we work closely with Krovstvo Petrovič to provide the most suitable solution and bring each project to life. Ocean Class 57

OCEAN CLASS 57 Yacht Design CLIENT: Green Line 3D modelling and co-design of exterior and interior: Andrej Kregar – Kreatif Design Preliminary design: Seaway Design Vessel length: 17,2 m (57’) Developing the Ocean Class 57 The development of the Ocean Class 57 was one of our most extensive and detailed projects. Although Seaway Design provided the side view and the floor plan, the yacht still needed to follow the Ocean Class identity. In addition, the client had already defined the interior requirements. Because of this, our role focused on building the entire vessel in 3D, refining every detail and ensuring a coherent design language across the Ocean Class range. We then produced high-quality renderings that became the foundation of the marketing campaign. Key Advantages and Performance Improvements Compared to similar yachts, the Ocean Class 57 offers several notable advantages. For instance, it features a significantly larger flybridge and cockpit, which provide more social and functional outdoor space. It also has the widest beam in its class, giving the vessel a strong and stable presence on the water. Despite this width, the hull remains slim below the waterline. As a result, the yacht maintains low resistance and achieves better fuel efficiency, which improves overall performance. Refined Exterior and Enhanced Interior Layout We also redesigned the bow, giving it a more modern character that matches the proportions of the yacht. Furthermore, we devoted particular attention to the flybridge roof and its overhang to ensure a balanced silhouette and better shading. Inside the vessel, we improved functionality by expanding the lounge area and adjusting the narrow passageways. These changes increase comfort on board and make movement throughout the yacht more fluid and practical. Overall, the Ocean Class 57 brings together a carefully refined exterior, a more efficient hull and a well-considered interior layout. Through a combination of technical precision and thoughtful design, the yacht offers a spacious, comfortable and visually coherent experience on every voyage.
