The apartment is designed with the fast pace of modern life in mind. It is functional and full of light, with every space and every piece of furniture serving a clear purpose. Each element does its job with intention and precision. Nothing is lacking, and nothing feels excessive. Everything you need is there.

What makes this apartment truly special is that, despite its minimalist and practical approach, it still radiates warmth and comfort. Behind its modern appearance, this two level home surprises with a sense of coziness that invites you to settle into the living room with a cup of hot cocoa and a good book. Throughout the design process, we continuously asked ourselves how much modern minimalism to include, and how much to lean into the inviting warmth of home. In the end, we found the right balance and created a space that brings together comfort and functionality in a way that meets every need.

The spatial quality is also defined by the elements themselves. A refined mix of colors, textures, and materials fills the apartment. Contrasts between white walls, warm wood finishes, and carefully placed black accents result in a visually rich and aesthetically harmonious atmosphere.

Of course, these design details were not selected only for their visual appeal. We also considered the location of the apartment. For example, the wooden wall panel behind the television subtly reinterprets the form of the Kamnik Savinja Alps. We chose wood and Pohorje tonalite as materials to reflect the local character and to bring elements of the natural environment into the interior. By using locally sourced materials, we not only created a connection between the home and its surroundings, but also supported the local economy and contributed to environmental sustainability by reducing transportation distances and lowering the carbon footprint.
