The building is located in the surroundings of Ljubljana, and fits well in an area dominated by other modern villas.
The design is defined by two cubes that are perpendicular to each other, between which a covered outdoor space is created. Both of them catch the south light, the ground floor cube contains the entrance hall, a large living room with a spacious kitchen and dining area, a study and a day toilet, while on the first floor the master bedroom and two children's bedrooms, two spacious bathrooms and other rooms can be found.
The design throughout is truly superb, with many exceptional details, ceramic tiles laid with the utmost precision, and even sockets hidden in drawers in some places to allow appliances to be charged covertly, without distracting cables and a cluttered appearance.
The lowered ceiling in the central living area, the large glass surfaces and the clever use of ambient lighting mean that there are many plays of light that make the central space feel even more spacious and elegant. The height of the ceilings varies, which has an important influence on our perception of the space as a spacious and fluid whole. Another interesting detail is the staircase, which is initially cantilevered and then changes to a classic design.
