We conducted an interior renovation for a client located in Rožna dolina, one of the most prestigious areas in Ljubljana where ambassadors often reside. The aim of each renovation was to create a modern and functional space that would suit the client’s needs and lifestyle. The first step was a thorough consultation with the client to understand their wants, needs and aesthetic preferences.
The apartment comprises a pleasant and bright living room with kitchen and dining island, a bathroom and a bedroom. The large windows make the apartment flooded with natural light and visually it has a very airy, open and transitional feel.
With the design we wanted to create a beautiful and meaningful space, but at the same time we wanted to be a bit more daring and also leave room for playfulness in the design, which is best shown in the choice of colour palette. There is a mix of white and deep blue throughout the apartment, from the sofas to the shelving and the kitchen, and in the living area we added a number of elements in natural wood tones, such as the dining table, the club table and the brown-toned curtains. The light fittings above the dining table and the graphics for the TV are gold in colour, adding a sense of prestige to the room.
The colours and good lighting make the room look like a work of art with a little imagination. The large white walls are a drawing canvas, the blue, gold and brown elements are layers of colour, and the interior design is careful brushstrokes.
