When safety and design meet
We have created an integrated product design for a company that has developed an innovative security system featuring synchronous face recognition, app and AI operation, night vision and even paintball shooting, among other features.
The design is based on the idea of “less is more”. We have created a geometric, simple and minimalist design based on soft oval shapes that flow into each other. The lower part of the product, which holds the head and allows rotation, flows elegantly and gently into the head, which allows tilting. The white colour adds to the modern look of the product and to the unity of the two parts, while the black front, which houses the camera among other things, acts as the eye of the product – the eye that sees everything.
The design was based on the understanding that such a product is visible at all times, even when it is not in “use”, and that the occupants are in regular visual contact with it, so that although it performs a security function, it does not draw attention to itself, it is not obtrusive, but acts as an aesthetic addition and thus does not interfere with the occupants’ everyday life.
